The 360º Education for Healthy Living (E4HL) project is an international initiative focused on improving the physical and mental well-being of young people through a holistic approach to healthy living. Implemented across Spain, Malta, Slovakia, Portugal, and Montenegro, the project responds to growing concerns related to sedentary lifestyles, unhealthy nutrition habits, emotional stress, and the lack of physical activity among youth.
By combining education, sport, and community engagement, E4HL promotes a 360-degree model of healthy living that integrates physical activity, nutrition awareness, emotional well-being, and healthy sleep habits into everyday school and community environments. The project aims to equip young people with practical knowledge and lifelong healthy habits that contribute to healthier and more active communities.
The initiative includes research activities focused on understanding current lifestyle behaviors and health education practices among young people. Based on these findings, project partners will develop and pilot an innovative educational programme tailored to the needs of students, teachers, families, and local communities. The project also promotes cooperation between schools, sports organisations, health professionals, and policymakers in order to create supportive environments for long-term well-being.
As part of its sustainability efforts, E4HL will produce a Best Practices Guide and support the exchange of innovative approaches related to health promotion, prevention, and youth well-being across Europe.
Co-funded through the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
